A conference under the headline "The Future of Minorities in the Middle East" will take place in Tel Aviv on the 27th October this year.

Social media personality and self-described Middle East expert, Edy Cohen, who has a big following on X, has taken the initiative to arrange the conference.

According to Cohen, hundreds of participants are expected – Alawites, Druz, Assyrians, Kurds, Yazidis and others, with most of them traveling from countries outside of the Middle East.

"The conference will provide an excellent platform to raise the issue of minorities and the deep Israeli connection to it. It will focus on Israeli aid and shed light on the future of minorities – from Druze and Alawites to Assyrians, Yazidis and Christians to other groups", the organizer says to Israel Today.

"The conference, with the participation of international and Israeli personalities, aims to open new horizons of dialogue on reconciliation, justice and the safeguarding of the fundamental rights of those communities that have long been an integral part of the regional structure. It will be a bridge for these minorities to Israel and the Jewish people", according to the organizer.
